However, I didnt have Moltres ex for the Energy acceleration, so I leaned hard on a standard Moltres card and Arcanine ex to carry through battles

Pretty cool

No matter what message the scene is trying to convey, it's at least a calm moment away from battle and a sneak peek into the more average part of everyday Pokemon life, which is nice to see when the video games often focus on only the journey to becoming champion and not the cozy side of life
